CFAR 4: Center for First Amendment Rights

CFAR’s Mission

The mission of The Center for First Amendment Rights, Inc. (CFAR) has been for 15 years to enhance the understanding of and appreciation for the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution throughout the population of Connecticut and to serve as an action-oriented resource center for First Amendment issues, information and education. It is a mission now embraced and shouldered by the American Civil Liberties Foundation of Connecticut, which like CFAR is a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible charity.
