Speakers' Bureau

The American Civil Liberties Union of Connecticut often provides speakers for educational events, panels, conferences, and school programs. We have an active Speakers' Bureau consisting of attorneys, community leaders, ACLU-CT staff and board members who are well versed in a myriad of civil liberties matters. Our speakers include experts on these topics, among others:

  • Civil Rights
  • Disability Rights
  • Free Speech
  • Immigrants' Rights
  • Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Rights
  • PATRIOT ACT and Privacy
  • Prisoners' Rights
  • Religious Liberty
  • Reproductive Freedom
  • Students' Rights
  • Voting Rights

In arranging for a speaker, it is helpful to call or email at least six weeks in advance to ensure that we can find you a speaker. Honoraria and provision of travel costs are encouraged as they help to support our continued programming.

To arrange for a speaker, please contact us at ACLU-CT headquarters:
