Catherine Crump, a national ACLU attorney, will present a talk entitled “The Government’s Insatiable Appetite for Surveillance” at the annual meeting of the Northeast Chapter of the ACLU of Connecticut on Friday October 17.
Attorney Crump’s talk will be at 7:30 pm, following the 7 pm annual meeting of the chapter.
The program, at the First Church of Christ in Mansfield Center, is free and open to the public. ACLU members are urged to attend the 7 p.m. business meeting.
The church is at 549 Storrs Road, at the intersection of Routes 89 and 195.
