Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) individuals should enjoy the same constitutional freedoms as all other individuals. Equal protection under the law as guaranteed by the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments and the right to privacy guaranteed by the Fourth, Fifth, Ninth, and Fourteenth Amendments apply to all individuals, no matter what their sexual orientation.
