Taking DNA from suspected felons opposed

A bill proposed in the General Assembly would allow police to take DNA samples from people who are suspected but not convicted of felonies. In a radio interview on WSHU, Sacred Heart University's station, ACLU-CT staff attorney David McGuire argues that the bill "takes the presumption of innocent until proven guilty and turns it on its head."
