The ACLU of Connecticut says five inmates on the state's Death Row are being denied privileges given other prison inmates, and has asked for a walk-through with Theresa Lantz, commissioner of corrections. These are inmates who have demonstrated exemplary behavior, wrote Staff Atty. David McGuire. To revoke their basic privileges that are afforded all other inmates without cause or formal justification is contrary to the fundamental fairness guaranteed by the Constitution’s right to due process.
