A breakthrough in the long-standing Greater Hartford school desegregation came in early April with agreement on a broad range of new steps to make Sheff vs. O'Neill meaningful to more students.
The ACLU is one of the parties representing the plaintiffs.
The agreement was reached just in time to have the new regimen considered before the General Assembly adjourns in early May.
