The ACLU-CT supported this measure as a natural extension of 2015's Second Chance Society law. This proposal would have provided juveniles with credit for timr served while they were in detention facilities. Through another key provision, this bill also would have instituted automatic erasure of juvenile records, which would have allowed youthful offenders to reintegrate into their communities without stigma.
