Summary

On Tuesday, June 14, join us for a lunchtime legislative wrap-up from our dedicated public policy and advocacy team.

The ACLU of Connecticut fought every step of the way for liberation, justice, and equity. This was also a hard year, with many politicians intent on doubling down on harming Black, Latinx, and trans youth.

On Tuesday, June 14, join us for a lunchtime wrap-up from our dedicated public policy and advocacy team – Claudine Constant, Anderson Curtis, Gus Marks-Hamilton, and Jess Zaccagnino – who worked tirelessly throughout this legislative session to push for policies that make our communities healthy, safe, and strong.

We'll discuss Smart Justice wins, partnerships with other organizations, new relationships with legislators, and new laws that affirm abortion rights and transgender healthcare rights in Connecticut.

This lively lunchtime conversation will be moderated by ACLU of Connecticut board member Akia Callum.
