No Kings 3: March 28

Since President Trump took office, we have been witnessing an egregious abuse of power, and we have all experienced the harm that has been trickling down into our communities from the administration's authoritarian agenda. And we are getting ready to mobilize. We’ll be out in the streets on March 28th with communities across the country to condemn President Trump’s escalating abuses of power. In Connecticut, we'll be in several places across the state, and we're asking you to join us. Namely, we're asking you to join us in New Haven, Hartford, and Stamford if you can. If you want to join this movement in other areas of the state, find an action closer to you here. We also want you to feel ready to hit the streets with us. Before you come join us for No Kings, check out these resources below to make sure you know your rights when protesting. At this point in the legislative session, we have a critical window to push our legislators to pass firewall protections before the end of session. We need to get the best version of the bill the governor's desk. The bill is waiting to be called in the House, and we need to make sure there are strong enforceability provisions, just as the Trust Act Now! Coalition has called for.
