Connecticut state law banned political parties from using out-of-state "circulators"--individuals who collect signatures on petitions to appear on election ballots. While this bill, which would have eliminated that requirement, died, the ACLU-CT successfully represented the Libertarian Party of Connecticut in a lawsuit to overturn the ban.
