Currently, undocumented students cannot apply for or receive financial aid from Connecticut's public universities and colleges, despite contributing to the funding streams that provide financial assistance for their documented peers. This bill would have fixed this inequity by allowing undocumented students from Connecticut to apply for and receive financial aid from the state's public institutions of higher education.
