Summary

The 2026 Connecticut Legislative Session has wrapped up, and many of the policies we organized around and advocated for have now become law. Join us for a debrief where we’ll break down key legislation and what it means for communities across Connecticut. We’ll cover parts of SB 397, now Public Act 26-14, related to protected areas from civil immigration enforcement and automatic license plate readers (ALPRs). We’ll also discuss HB 5001, which expands access to voting by mail, along with other key election reforms. Together, we’ll review what these new laws do, what they mean for Connecticut residents and communities, and what to expect now that they’ve passed.

Join this month's office hour on Thursday, June 18th at 6:00 pm ET! Save your spot and register here.
