Laura Brownstein is the development director of the ACLU-CT. Her primary responsibilities include donor engagement, major gift fundraising strategy and implementation, and connecting supporters to the critical work of protecting and expanding individual freedoms and equality in Connecticut. Laura received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Southern Connecticut State University. Prior to joining the ACLU-CT, Laura worked in development for The Nature Conservancy in Connecticut, Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County, and Planned Parenthood in New Haven, Connecticut. A lifelong Connecticut resident, Laura is deeply committed to the ACLU-CT's mission.
