Meghan Holden joined the American Civil Liberties Union of Connecticut (ACLU-CT) in 2016. Her primary responsibilities include managing media relations and communications strategies and developing content that advocates for protecting and expanding individual freedoms and equality. Meghan received her bachelor's degree in English and creative writing from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts and attended Johns Hopkins University’s master's in government program. Prior to joining the ACLU-CT, Meghan served in development, policy, and communications roles with a variety of nonprofit organizations focused on girls' empowerment, feminist literature, reproductive freedom and justice, and financial support for people living with HIV.
