Meghan Holden joined the American Civil Liberties Union of Connecticut (ACLU-CT) in 2016. Her primary responsibilities include managing media relations and communications strategies and developing content that advocates for protecting and expanding individual freedoms and equality. Meghan received her bachelor's degree in English and creative writing from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts and attended Johns Hopkins University’s master's in government program. Prior to joining the ACLU-CT, Meghan served in development, policy, and communications roles with a variety of nonprofit organizations, including Catholics for Choice and the Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts. A proud northeastern Connecticut native, Meghan also served on the Board of Trustees of the AIDS Foundation of Western Massachusetts.
