RBG Film Screening at Madison Art Cinemas

May 11, 2018 @ 7:30 pm

You know her name. You know her accomplishments. But do you know her story? Join us for a special opening night screening of "RBG" on Friday, May 11, at 7:40 pm at Madison Art Cinemas in Madison.

You’re invited to join the ACLU of Connecticut, CWEALF (Connecticut Women’s Education and Legal Fund), NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut, and Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, together with Madison Art Cinemas, for a very special opening night screening of “RBG.” This new documentary highlights Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s legal legacy, from co-founding the ACLU Women’s Rights Project to her current tenure as Supreme Court Justice, while also outlining how she has become a pop culture icon. Donations at the door to presenting organizations are welcome but not required. Regular ticket prices will prevail and are available at the Madison Art Cinemas’ box office or online.

Immediately after the film, we’ll host a discussion with leaders from the ACLU of Connecticut, CWEALF, NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut, and Planned Parenthood of Southern New England.
