In joint testimony, the ACLU of Connecticut and NAACP opposed this bill. Both organizations raised the due to the due process, privacy, and racial injustice issues raised by the use of red light cameras and speed cameras and spoke to this bill's potential to jeopardize public safety, racial justice, privacy, immigrant’s rights, and due process rights in Connecticut.
