Connecticut State Police today released, as required by law, footage of Ansonia police shooting and killing a man. The following is a reaction from David McGuire, executive director of the ACLU of Connecticut:
“No one should die at the hands of police. While other facts in this case are still unclear, one is certain: Michael Gregory was shot and killed by Ansonia police. The video footage released by state police shows a deeply disturbing situation in which police were met with someone in crisis and responded with violence, raising serious questions about police behavior.”
