HB 6273, An Act Concerning Disclosure of Salary Ranges on Public and Internal Job Postings

The ACLU-CT believes that all women should have equal access to employment, free from discrimination. Automatically providing the salary range on job postings creates an open dialogue from the beginning of the job search process.

SB 943, An Act Concerning the Return of Security Deposits Upon the Termination of Tenancy

All people in Connecticut have a right to safe, stable, and affordable housing. Under current law, landlords are required to return a security deposit within 30 days of vacating a property. A delay in returning these funds can have disastrous effects on the state’s most financially vulnerable.
